Details of the Boss Damage Accumulation System
The Boss Damage Accumulation System determines which character receives the item reward upon defeating a boss.
This brief guide is aimed at scenarios involving bosses that create a PvP battle.
In Imperial Mu, the player who receives the boss reward is the one who deals and accumulates the most damage while the boss is alive. However, it is crucial to note that accumulated damage can be lost under certain conditions, which can dramatically alter the outcome during PvP battles.
We have recently updated this system, which now applies exclusively to the Boss and Event servers.
How does the damage accumulation system work on the Boss and Event servers?
Damage accumulation is individual (damage is not accumulated within a party).
All accumulated damage is lost if you do not deal damage to the boss for 7 seconds.
All accumulated damage is lost if your character dies and doesn't hit the boss again quickly.
All accumulated damage is lost if your character is more than 20 coordinates away from the boss.
If the character with the most accumulated damage loses, the reward eligibility transfers to the character with the second-highest accumulated damage.
Understanding this information is essential for developing various strategies based on this system.
